Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Manage project finances, including monitoring costs and variations.
Prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and validate claims.
Advise on procurement strategy and contract administration.
Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of [2-5] years' experience in quantity surveying or cost management (depending on role level).
Certifications:
RICS, AIQS, or other professional accreditation (preferred but not mandatory).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in cost estimating software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, Candy).
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Familiarity with contract standards (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, JCT).
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
