Experience and Qualifications:
Btech QS or BSc QS (or in progress of obtaining) A minimum of 4 to 8 years working experience Your professional registration will b advantageous Advanced Microsoft Office skills Valid RSA drivers' licence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct feasibility studies and advise on the most economical way to meet project requirements from the outset. Prepare cost estimates and budgets for materials, labour and equipment. Develop tender documents, including bills of quantities, for the bidding process. Manage tenders and evaluate and negotiate bids from contractors. Monitor and control costs for projects. Measure and value the work done on site to facilitate payments. Manage contracts and advising on contractual matters, negotiate variations, and ensure payments are made accurately an on time. Finalize project accounts and ensure all contractual obligations are met. Perform analysis to understand the costs over the entire life of the building or structure.
