Job Summary Company and :
A leading technical interiors firm based in Midrand is on the hunt for a razor-sharp Quantity Surveyor to join their project delivery team. If precision, planning, and performance light your fire--this role brings all three to the table, especially within high-value infrastructure environments like data centres, control rooms, and modular installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Estimating & Budgeting

• Calculate accurate estimates for raised access flooring systems and related installation
• Develop and track project budgets and cost breakdowns

Tendering & Procurement

• Source quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare and negotiate tender documents and contracts

Contract Administration

• Manage contracts with clients and contractors (NEC, JBCC, FIDIC, etc.)
• Track changes, variations, and payment processes

Cost Control & Reporting

• Monitor real-time costs and flag deviations
• Create financial forecasts and reporting for internal teams

Site Support & Measurement

• Conduct site assessments and validate completed work
• Collaborate on material usage and minimize wastage

Risk Management & Compliance

• Identify commercial risks and ensure contractual compliance
• Support regulatory alignment and reporting

Projects You'll Be Involved With

• Raised access floors integrated with technical infrastructure
• Custom modular flooring systems for high-load environments
• Sites requiring seismic systems, ISO/EN compliance, or bespoke finishes

Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):

• BSc/BTech in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• Experience with specialist construction, fit-outs, or modular infrastructure
• Proficient in Excel, MS Projects, and ERP tools
• A proactive communicator across teams--engineering, procurement, installation
