Job Summary
Are you a detail-driven Quantity Surveyor with a passion for structural innovation? A leading South African consultancy is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Krugersdorp, Gauteng. This is your chance to work on a variety of structural projects that include steel-framed reinforced concrete, composite systems, timber, and masonry across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
As part of this forward-thinking practice, you'll be involved in:
Projects from conceptual study phases through to execution, evaluating multiple structural systems to meet strength, cost, and aesthetic goals.
Collaborations with structural engineers and architects on complex builds.
Utilizing various design packages for structural and civil analysis, including static and dynamic load considerations.
Applying your working knowledge of SABS codes (0400, 0100, 0160, 0162, 0163, 1200, etc.), modern construction methods, and materials.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying
SACQSP Candidate Registration
2-7 years of relevant experience
Exposure to commercial, industrial, or residential structural projects is highly advantageous
