Job Description

Responsibilities:

Preparing cost estimates, budgets and bill of quantities Managing project costs from inception to completion Monitoring and controlling project expenditure Prepare tender documents and contract documents Conducting site visits and progress valuations Assessing variations and claims Preparing final accounts and project reports Critical analysis of tender document (from attending site inspections, calculating quantities & tender specification and requirements prior to pricing). Negotiations with suppliers on pricing (prior and post award stages). Measurements for all sites and compiling payment certificates. Site costing management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field 5+ years experience in quantity Surveying Relevant professional registration would be beneficial Strong knowledge of construction contracts Excellent analytical and numerical skills Proficiency in QS software (MS Projects, Excel, BuildSmart) Valid Driver's License
