Job Description
Job Summary Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 with relevant Degree
- Practical work post degree completed
- Own vehicle and valid license
- Experience with a Consulting company
- SACQSP (South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession)
- ASAQS (The Association of South African Quantity Surveyors)
- Prepare preliminary cost estimates for construction projects
- Review designs and outline specifications to manage and control costs
- Create detailed cost estimates and draft bills of quantities.
- Develop project budgets for construction costs
- Prepare tender documents, including final bills of quantities
- Assist with tender evaluations, pricing negotiations, and contract documentation
- Handle monthly payment valuations and resolve contractor financial claims
- Set up and maintain financial control systems, including monthly reports and cash flows
- Prepare pricing schedules and calculate consulting team fees for new project bids
