Requirements:

Education - Bachelor's Degree In Quantity Surveying , Construction Management , Civil Engineering or a Related Field . Minimum of 3 years experience with quoting within the construction industry, preferably fire systems. Proficiency in Excel, Word Able to read drawings (structural, architectural, etc) Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with clients Proficiency with Cost Management Software Excellent project management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy in pricing and documentation. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Valid drivers license (to attend tender briefings, tender submissions as and when required)

Job Responsibilities

Cost Planning and Control -Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets based on drawings ,specifications and projecr requirements . Procuring and Tendering - Evaluate Contractor/sun-contractor bids. negotiate rates , variations with suppliers and sub contractors Contract Administration -Draft , review and administer contracts Risk Management - Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies , conduct cost benefit analysis Reporting and Documentation - Maintain accurate cost records , produce regular cost reports , Provide clear concise financial information to project managers and senior leadership Compliance and Standrads - Ensure all cost related activities adhere to relevant industry standards , regulations and company policies . Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing. Assist in the preparation of bid / tender proposals and presentations for clients. Maintain organized records of all estimates, revisions, and related documentation.
