Quantity Surveyor

What You'll Do

As a

Quantity Surveyor

, you will play a critical role in the

financial success and efficiency

of our projects by overseeing all cost-related aspects -- from early feasibility studies to final account settlement.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate

cost estimates

, budgets, and feasibility studies.

Evaluate tenders

and negotiate with contractors and suppliers. Prepare and manage

contract documentation

including bills of quantities. Monitor and control project expenditure and progress claims. Conduct

site measurements

and valuations. Manage subcontractor accounts and ensure timely payments. Support project teams with cost advice, change control, and risk management. Assist with procurement and ensure compliance with project specs and timelines. Prepare and present detailed

financial reports

to senior management. Work closely with clients, engineers, and site managers to ensure value for money and contractual clarity.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree or diploma

in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. Minimum

3-5 years' experience

in the South African construction industry. Solid understanding of construction contracts (JBCC, NEC, FIDIC, etc.). Strong knowledge of cost planning, tendering, and project accounting. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficient in MS Excel and industry software (e.g., CCS Candy, BuildSmart). Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a team player. Valid driver's license and own transport.
