We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of our construction and manufacturing projects. This role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across both site and office environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, evaluate and manage project cost estimates, budgets, and cash flows.
Prepare and issue tender documentation, bills of quantities, and contracts.
Assess, negotiate, and certify subcontractor and supplier payments.
Conduct cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments.
Manage and monitor variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
Provide accurate project cost reporting and forecasting to management.
Support project teams with financial and contractual advice.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contract conditions, and industry standards.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery.
Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractor packages where required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably within both construction and manufacturing sectors.
Strong knowledge of contracts (e.g., JBCC, NEC, FIDIC, or similar).
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and QS software (e.g., CCS Candy, BuildSmart, or equivalent).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
