Job Description
An opportunity has become available for a QUALITY SUPERVISOR position to join the Prestige Clothing - Maitland team.
Responsibilities:
Drive quality control processes and procedures. Actively participate in pre-submission sample discussions. (Risk assessments) Supervise a team of end-line examiners and line rovers. Measure product performance during production to ensure quality control standards are maintained. Complete random product inspections at stipulated intervals to maintain quality control standards. Ensure line rovers and examiners maintain quality control disciplines in production. Ensure that line rovers and examiners maintain a good quality control record-keeping system. Support the production line, technically. Anticipate potential product quality risks that could cause delays to bulk production. Support the style change process to ensure line "changeovers" are smooth and completed in the shortest time possible. Ensure downtime is kept to a minimum when quality issues are identified. Ensure controls are maintained to reduce rework and reject rates across the production department. Maintain team discipline.
Requirements:
Grade 10 Supervisory experience for 1 or more years Clothing industry experience would be advantageous Clear criminal record Garment construction knowledge Microsoft Office Skills Advantageous Good contactable references
