QUALITY MANAGER (MANUFACTURING & ENGINEERING)

We are currently recruiting for a qualified Quality Manager with a background in the manufacturing industry. Our client specialises in the production of steel and metal products, making it essential for the ideal candidate to possess relevant experience in quality management within a similar industry. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring compliance through audits, demonstrating proficiency in quality management systems, supervising the mechanical testing lab, and conducting final product quality validations, among other duties.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric Qualification with Maths and Science
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Quality or related (i.e. Engineering with Quality courses done)
- Must have at least 4 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing industry doing quality control or management.
- Solid experience on Quality Management Systems
- In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards.
- Extremely proficient in audit methodologies and procedures.
- People management or supervisor experience
- Must have your own car and a valid driver''s license
