Babylonstoren's quality assurance team is expanding and we're looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Technologist to join us on the farm. Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in food science or related field
• Minimum of five years' experience in quality assurance and manufacturing
• Sound knowledge of RTE (ready-to-eat) and meat products
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent planning, organisational and execution abilities
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively when required
• Results-orientated and able to perform well under pressure
• Strong interpersonal and employee relations skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Able to monitor and comply with safety rules and regulations
• Physically able to climb stairs and move easily between processing areas

• Maintain document control and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Implement and monitor corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs)
• Oversee audits
• Manage non-conformances and conduct root cause investigations
• Drive the implementation of core quality standards
• Implement and monitor prerequisite programmes (PRPs)
• Implement and monitor HACCP systems
• Oversee hygiene services and uphold sanitation standards across factories
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to quality
