Brief Role Description
Plans, defines, co-ordinates and is accountable for quality Features/Standards within a specific Group including the developing of suitable measures in order to meet customer requirements in respect of quality through prevention of problems and continuous improvement of product and service
Key responsibilities

• Participate in defining QAA specific field quality objectives.
• Participate in the development of test criteria for vehicle functions.
• Identify and evaluate field problems, conduct defect analysis to determine the root cause.
• Monitor the effectiveness of corrective measures implemented.
• Assess and support approval of PVS and O-series functions.
• Follow-up regularly with Production, Parts Quality, Design engineers, Production, Dealers and Suppliers on the progress of improved actions.
• Provide support and participation in problem solving forums.
• Perform various tasks/functions of an administrative nature (i.e.. problem sheets, management presentations).
• Liaise with a diversity of people both internally and externally (suppliers, dealers and importers).
• Identify and evaluate field problems, conduct defect analysis to determine the root cause and provide support during development and implementation of corrective measures to ensure non-reoccurrence of defects in the factory/field.

Qualification requirements and Experience needed
National Diploma or Bachelors Degree in
3-5 years relevant experience in the automotive industry within Production / Product Engineering / Quality environment / Aftersales * Knowledge of the vehicle functions (Mechanical)

• Ability to process and analyse complex data using problem solving tools
• Strong computer skills (Ms Office, automotive systems, incl. HyperKVS, AVON, ELSAPro, FIS, DISS, KPM, ODIS Service, System/Service 42, SIDIS)
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate and present at all levels within the organisation
• Be a self-starter and be able to work independently.
