Job Description
QUALITY CONTROLLER - TRUSS
Duties will include.
1. Ensure that roof trusses are manufactured to the required specifications
2. Ensure that quality standards are met during the manufacturing process
3. Conduct material inspections on timber and other materials used
4. Adhere to relevant standards
5. Maintain documents to inspections and escalating non-conformances to management
6. Monitor and adhere to safe work practices
7. Able to work well and accurately under pressure and manage tasks effectively.
8. Implement and monitor the company policies and procedures.
9. Report to management.
Requirements
Matric
Minimum of 2 years' experience within the Hardware / Truss manufacturing industry with building material product knowledge
Computer Literate and Experience on MS Office at an intermediate level is essential.
K8 experience would be advantageous.
A team worker who is able to work well independently and with minimal supervision.
High attention to detail and able to work accurately under pressure in the fast-paced retail environment.
Must be willing to work extended hours, due operational requirements.
