Job Description
Motus Autoworx, a dynamic leader in the vehicle repair industry is looking, is inviting applications from honest, trustworthy, and highly responsible candidates with relevant experience to apply for the position of a Quality Controller at our Briardene branch.
Position Overview
The purpose of the position is to ensure the quality of all vehicles once they have been through the panel shop. This position reports directly to the branch manager
Specific Role Responsibilities
Directing and overseeing employees in the Speed Shop Ensuring that vehicles are repaired timeously and vehicles are of superior quality Ensuring that production from start to finish runs smoothly Ensuring that all vehicles are clean inside and out Spare wheels and tools are in the vehicle The engine is clean Windscreen wipers work properly No damage to windscreens Tyres are inflated correctly All lights, radio and air conditioner functions properly When required run radiator pressure tests Paint work is smooth and scratch free.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Experience
2-3 years' relevant experience TMS experience
Minimum Qualification
Grade 12
Minimum Requirements
Valid, unendorsed code 8 driver's license. Computer literate: an intermediate level of MS Excel - essential.
Skills and Personal Attributes
Competencies:
Communication skills Computer Literacy: Intermediate Excel proficiency is essential. Planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting. Negotiation skills Results oriented
