• Inspect incoming materials according to drawings and inspection plans

• Verify supplier certificate of conformance (COC), where applicable

• Record accepted material in the Requisition book

• Record non-conforming materials on the NCR Database on EtQ as a Supplier NCR

• Segregation of non-conforming product to the reject rack

• Conduct non-conformance investigations and identification of failure modes

• Load engineering change requests for improvement recommendations

• Verify corrective actions implemented

• Verify that valid operating instructions are in use during production

• Conduct mechanical inspections and record on the Mechanical Inspections register

• Verify software version

• Witness product testing and verification

• Inspect and manage product packaging

• Verify that test equipment has been calibrated if required

• Prior to shipment, verify the labelling and contents of box against the Purchase order

• Verify that the correct documentation accompanies the product

• Conduct mechanical inspections

• Witness product testing and verification

• Sign-off on the Final COC

• Compile inspection statistics for Quality reporting

Qualifications & Experience

• Matric

• Qualifications in Quality, electronic engineering and mechanical engineering will be an advantage

• 2-3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Quality Inspections

• Training on basic quality concepts/techniques is essential

• Ability to read mechanical drawings
