Responsibilities

• Verification of equipment
• Verification of cleaning chemicals
• Quality checks on final packed product
• Traceability checks on primary packaging material
• Raise and complete non-conformances
• Verification of PRPxe2x80x99s, OPRPxe2x80x99s and CCPxe2x80x99s
• Hygiene and GMP inspections
• Pest control inspections
• Assist with customer complaints
• Inbound and Outbound inspections
• Glass and Hard plastic inspections
• Complete monthly QFS reports
• Must be able to draft documents (SOPxe2x80x99s, check sheets, procedures)
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000, AIB, IBL standards advantageous

Qualifications

• Grade 12 NSC
• Diploma in Food Technology would be advantageous
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices in the Food Production Industry included but not limited to: Integrated pest management, document control, training and development, traceability, raw material/supplier quality assurance, lab experience
• Experience working with standards including but not limited to: FSSC 22000, AIB, South African Retailer Standards
• Functioned as part of a Food Safety Team
• Conversant with relevant legislation in the Food Industry
