A reputable training and development organisation is seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager - Accreditation to lead accreditation, compliance, and quality assurance functions. This pivotal role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in SETA and QCTO frameworks, programme accreditation, and quality management systems. The successful candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain institutional credibility, and drive operational excellence across all learning delivery channels.
Description

The Quality & Compliance Manager: Accreditation plays a strategic leadership role in ensuring the organisation's training programmes remain fully accredited, compliant, and respected within the South African education and training landscape. This role is central to maintaining credibility, expanding programme offerings, and driving operational excellence across all learning delivery channels.
As the primary liaison with SETAs, QCTO, and other regulatory bodies, the incumbent will guide internal teams-including Academy Development Managers and Project Managers-on compliance, quality assurance, and accreditation strategy. The role also oversees the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensures all projects meet regulatory standards.
Duties:

• Accreditation Management: Sustain and expand accreditation with relevant South African Skills Development Authorities and Councils.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full institutional compliance with SETA, QCTO, SAQA, and DHET regulations.
• Programme Delivery Resources: Oversee accreditation of QCTO programmes and manage facilitator, moderator, and workplace partner sourcing.
• Quality Management System (QMS): Maintain and enhance a compliant QMS aligned with national standards.
• Project Compliance Oversight: Ensure all training projects adhere to accreditation and quality assurance requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Education, Training & Development, Quality Management, or related field (NQF Level 6/7).
Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in a senior management role within a training and development environment.
• Proven experience in QCTO programme accreditation and SETA/QCTO audit management.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain QMS frameworks.
• Experience managing facilitators, moderators, and workplace learning partners.
• Familiarity with learner certification and assessment centre operations

Knowledge & Skills:

• Deep understanding of QCTO and SETA accreditation frameworks.
• Strong grasp of the Skills Development Act, SAQA regulations, and DHET policies.
• Expertise in quality assurance systems and compliance audits.
• Knowledge of learnerships, workplace learning, and skills development facilitation.
• Awareness of Health & Safety standards in training environments.
• Solid risk management practices in education and training delivery
