Job Summary Our client is in search of a talented and dedicated Quality Assurance Professional to join their team. If you are passionate about maintaining the highest standards of quality and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, we want to hear from you! Must possess a suitable tertiary qualification in Engineering/Quality Control. A Quality Control/Management qualification or equivalent would be an advantage. Minimum of 3 years' experience in the engineering/construction sector is required. Proven experience in creating, controlling, and managing quality control procedures and processes is a necessity. Valid South African driver's license. Valid passport. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and techniques is advantageous. Quality control testing and inspection experience is essential. An inspection qualification would be an advantage. Computer literacy in Google Workspace tools and experience with cloud computing, such as DocuSign, etc. Needs to be assertive with good interpersonal skills. Tertiary qualification in Engineering/Quality Control. Quality Control/Management qualification (advantageous). Minimum of 3 years' experience in engineering/construction. Proven experience in quality control. Valid South African driver's license. Valid passport. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and techniques (advantageous). Quality control testing and inspection experience. Computer literacy in Google Workspace tools. Assertiveness with good interpersonal skills. Managing and organizing quality records for projects and internal documentation. Ensuring compliance with Veolia ISO systems. Meeting client project quality requirements. Generating client project quality documentation. Executing effective quality assurance and management for projects. Liaising with suppliers and project teams on quality requirements. Identifying and communicating the need for quality records. Conducting quality inspections on turnkey projects. Assisting in the training of Junior Inspectors. Assisting the sales and tendering team with costing of quality assurance and control compliance. Preparing and controlling Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Procedures. Managing data books for both internal and subcontractors. Inspecting and releasing incoming and outgoing products/goods. Ensuring quality documentation is obtained and controlled by suppliers. Producing Data books for clients and maintaining records. Assessing the suitability of suppliers to provide goods. Auditing project sites, suppliers, and subcontractors. Preparing quality status reports. Preparing and controlling Project Quality Control Plans. Assisting with the implementation and upgrading of ISO Quality, Environment, and Safety Standards. Reviewing and evaluating quality performance and initiating corrective action. Ensuring compliance with Veolia's quality management system. Ensuring compliance with clients' quality requirements. Reviewing and assessing the quality management of the company for continuous improvement. Attending project progress meetings and providing feedback on quality assurance and control activities. Providing monthly feedback on the status of all project quality assurance and control activities. Performing other duties as required by the departmental manager. Critical Cross Field Outcomes: This role will involve performing duties in line with the latest ISO 9001 Requirements and Project Quality Requirements, working as part of a team, maintaining confidentiality, managing teams of people, communicating professionally with clients, and ensuring legal compliance with relevant labor and employment laws.
