The purpose of this position is to ensure that the Quality and Food Safety Management System is effectively monitored, maintained, and continuously updated to meet all regulatory, customer, and business requirements. The role provides a comprehensive quality assurance and quality control function to the business and ensures that only safe, compliant, and high-quality products are produced and released.

Duties and Responsibilities
Implement and maintain the
Quality
and Food Safety System
Evaluate, maintain and update the quality and food safety management system according to FSSC 22000 and other requirements
Monitor, evaluate and implement manufacturing systems and procedures to ensure that quality and food safety standards are consistently met
Ensure that procedures are followed correctly regarding change control at Production level
Ensure all updated specifications from PT&T are issued and implemented through the Food Safety System
Ensure validation studies for equipment, block flow diagram and process are completed and available
Monitor and evaluate the efficiency of cleaning and dis-infection systems in the plant.
Identify quality and food safety issues and help/support with specialist knowledge to solve the issues
Conduct and verify that food safety and quality related training is done and encourage a proper food safety culture
Coordinate and provide support to Production regarding trials, new processes and changes
Ensure effective communication (written, verbal) with all levels on processes, products and changes that will influence quality/food safety
Assist with product recalls and withdrawals as and when required
Verify qualitysystems and procedures on the branch by doing and coordinating internal audits and the closing and correct reporting thereof.
Ensure Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) is maintained, including HACCP and Qualitymeetings are done effectively
Manage the Entropy system regarding the procedures, records, investigations and non-conformances
Training all levels on Food safety and Quality aspects/requirements and procedures as needed.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to ensure continual improvement and cost savings to operating procedures
Customer Complaints, KPI's, audits
Investigate customer complaints and Implement corrective actions in consultation with relevant stakeholders
Do monthly trend analysis on Customer complaints
Update KPI files
Update PowerPoint presentation on related Quality and Food safety KPI's
Conduct internal audits: Food safety, Quality, PRP and Monthly GMP.
Ensure that the facility is aware and available for all related audits
Validate that the relevant documentations are in place for the audit
Ensure that the corrective actions of previous findings are addressed
Ensure that proactive steps are taken to minimize risks, findings, etc.
Conduct and participate in regular audits to ensure that requirements are met
Incidents, Non-conformances, Investigations
Conduct, report and record investigations related to quality deviations and implement corrective actions
Raise, and follow up, non-conformances for all quality, food safety, supplier related issues on the branch with the various departments, service providers and Bus and ensure effective corrective and preventative actions with Production teams
Investigate and assist Production when product, packaging & raw material does not comply with specifications (concessions)
* Develop and implement communication between different departments on the site
