Job Description
Job Summary Duties:
- Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on diesel engines and related components
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and machinery to ensure proper operation
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and provide solutions for repair
- Replace faulty components, such as fuel pumps, filters, and turbochargers
- Ensure all repairs comply with safety and regulatory standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keep accurate records of maintenance work and parts used
- Respond to breakdowns and provide on-site repairs when necessary
- Work effectively with the team to ensure timely vehicle repairs and minimize downtime
- Certification in Diesel Mechanics or related fields
- Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
- Prior experience in a transport or logistics environment
- Minimum 3-5 years proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel engine systems in Automotive industry
- Experience in repairing and maintaining large commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- A valid driver's license, with a clean driving record
- Ability to work overtime and be on standby as required
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Automotive Industry experience ESSENTIAL!!
