About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Rigger to join our operations on a remote mine site in the North West Province, near the Pilanesberg region. This is a fixed-term contract opportunity for six months, requiring a skilled professional who can work in a challenging and safety-critical environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Rigger in mining, construction, or heavy industry.
- Formal qualification in Rigging:
o A trade certificate / recognition of prior learning in rigging.
- Strong mathematical ability to calculate load weights, angles, and safe lifting capacities.
- Proven ability to conduct rigging studies and develop rigging/lifting plans.
- Valid rigger certification and compliance with legal and industry standards.
- Medically fit to work on a mine construction site (medical certificate required).
- Safety-focused, dedicated, hardworking, and prudent professional with attention to detail.
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding remote conditions.
