Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical components and systems in the steel production line
Perform routine inspections, fault diagnosis, and repair of heavy machinery
Ensure all work complies with health & safety standards
Read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical schematics
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency

Proven experience as a Fitter in a heavy industrial or metal manufacturing setting
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with tools, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed assembly procedures
Good understanding of health and safety procedures
Trade qualification (Red-Seal)
