We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installations, maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs in line with SANS standards, the OHS Act, and Construction Butler's quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on construction sites Install and maintain single-phase and three-phase electrical systems Conduct fault-finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electrical systems Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications Ensure full compliance with OHS Act, SANS standards, and site safety procedures Complete job cards, inspections, and reports accurately and on time Work collaboratively with site managers, artisans, and other trades Adhere to project timelines, quality standards, and client expectations

Requirements

Trade Test Certificate (Electrician) - Red Seal preferred Matric (Grade 12) Minimum 3-5 years' post-trade experience in construction or related environments Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience Solid understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations Ability to work independently and under pressure Valid driver's license - required Own Vehicle - Advantageous Medically fit to work on construction sites
