Our company is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, with the ideal candidate also comfortable performing preventative maintenance.

Diesel Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines

- Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems

- Perform preventative maintenance

- Attend to breakdowns

- Prepare work orders and order parts

- Maintain a clean and safe workplace

Diesel Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Valid driver's license (preferred)

- Diesel technician or mechanic qualification

- Experience with diesel engine repair

- Some welding experience

- Mechanical skills

- Basic computer skills

- Basic math skills

- Ability to work in a team setting

- Willingness to work a variety of shifts as required

- Excellent verbal communication skills

- Good organization skills
