Expro are currently recruiting for a QHSE & CA Manager to join the QHSE team based in Parow.

Overall Purpose of the Job

Focal point in Area who actively manages QHSE and Competency Assurance matters, including the provision of advice on relevant legislation; liaises with government and other external bodies as required including the award and/or maintenance of external certification.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

• Focal point for all QHSE & CA matters in area of responsibility including the provision of advice on relevant legislation; liaises with government and other external bodies as required including the award and/or maintenance of external certixefxacx81cation.
• Make regular Area base/facility visits to build and maintain relationships with managers and employees and to monitor customer satisfaction with QHSE & CA performance for their Area.
• Deliver presentations and provide training for managers and/or employees on CA related subjects where necessary and appropriate.
• Drive implementation of, and compliance with, Expro QHSE & CA methods and systems in the area of responsibility to ensure consistency of approach and understanding of goals
• Identify and agree local QHSE & CA methods and systems as necessary and ensure compatibility with Group and Region requirements
• Support managers in the identixefxacx81cation and delivery of QHSE & CA targets and goals to ensure continuous awareness and improvement of key QHSE & CA areas
• Ensure QHSE & CA policies, standards and directives are understood and followed and ensures appropriate training is provided to managers and employees as necessary
• Manage the QHSE & CA resources in area of responsibility to provide professional, competent and cost exefxacx80ective support to the business
• Ensure accidents and near misses are reported, investigated and exefxacx80ective corrective action taken and closed out; may take the lead during accident investigations
• Ensure non-conformance reports are raised, investigated and exefxacx80ective correction action taken and closed out; may take the lead during non-conformance investigations
• Monitor QHSE & CA performance and ensure compliance with reporting requirements including Etrak reports, KPIs, planned HSE inspections etc; ensure exefxacx80ective dissemination of relevant QHSE & CA information to relevant parties
• Conduct or arrange QHSE & CA audits in compliance with agreed audit schedule
• QHSE & CA input to bids as required
• Facilitate training as required
• Distribute Safety Alerts with the area of responsibility
• Arrange and contribute to safety and quality meetings within the area of responsibility

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

• Extensive experience in an HSEQ environment including proven management experience
• Degree-qualified in a relevant subject
• NEBOSH, IOSH (or equivalent) certification
• IRCA Lead Assessor qualification (or standard industry accreditation)
• Experience of ISO standards/systems
