Job Description

A reputable agricultural company in the dairy industry requires the services of a QC Officer/Supervisor for Juices and Motoho/Mageu at at their beverages plant in Bethlehem, Free State. Duties include:

QUALITY CONTROL: Ensuring food safety & quality standards is adhered to; Auditing of the factory, inside and outside on hygiene parameters; Auditing of staff on hygiene parameters; Auditing of hostels and ablution on hygiene parameters Corrective and preventative action from lab; Samples to be sent to independent labs for verification and testing; Trend analysis on results from lab; Corrective and preventative action from lab; Analysis of Juice and Motoho/Mageu return from trade and customer complaints; Shelve life on Juice and Motoho/Mageu; QC report on Juice and Motoho/Mageu quality; Auditing of washing procedures; Auditing of filling procedures.

LAB: Testing of all water, Juice and Motoho/Mageu packed; Mixing of all concentrates for juice; Auditing of plant, inside and outside on hygiene parameters; Auditing of plant staff on hygiene parameters.

FOOD SAFETY & QUALITY: Ensuring food safety and quality standards are adhered to; Ensuring compliance to all Food Safety Standards.

Competitive salary plus housing and provident fund.

Requirements: ND Food Technology or related field, minimum 2 years' experience in QC and food safety in the food industry, good communication and interpersonal skills.
