Development and maintenance of quality management and food safety systems, including HACCP, IPW and assistance with WIETA, Fairtrade and BSCI
Manage and ensure quality of all the production processes across various production facilities
Ensure quality compliance of dry goods, including machine pass of new products, intake QC, etc.
Work with suppliers to solve dry goods related quality issues
Manage labs and QC assistants
Supplier and product approvals
Supply chain mapping and supplier site updates
Developing and maintaining material and product specifications
Bottling requests and service provider spec sheet approval
Maintain all product and quality related information on platforms of our importers and distributors
Record and assist in investigation and solving of client complaints
Assistance in new product development. Obtain and maintain SAWIS label approvals.
Requirements:
BSc Food Science/Microbiology degree or equivalent relevant qualification
* 5 years QC experience in a wine-production environment.
