Job Summary Our client based in Johannesburg North has a opportunity for a Fluent French/English /QC Engineer in the Northern suburbs of Johannesburg. The perfect applicant should have a technical degree, if this is you, we would love to meet with you! Job Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 12 years of experience within the mining industry. (other heavy industry experience may be considered) Relevant Technical Degree Good communication & negotiation skills Working within the established project management framework and standards of the Client to ensure consistency and alignment with our corporate objectives. Collaborating with internal project teams and stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain project management methodologies, tools, and templates. Assisting in project risk management, issue resolution, and change request management. Coordinating and facilitating project communication and stakeholder engagement Producing project status reports and conducting regular project review meetings. Ensuring project compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Conducting regular site visits to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality requirements. Providing guidance and support to construction leads and project execution leads to help them manage the work effectively and efficiently. Monitoring project progress and identifying issues or risks that may impact the project schedule or budget. Collaborating with the internal project team to develop and implement corrective actions to mitigate project risks and issues. Ensuring that all work is conducted in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and Client standards.
