Qualifications and Experience required:
A 3-4 year degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
ISTQB / ISEB certification is advantageous
5-7 years' experience in software quality assurance, with a proven ability to deliver within complex project environments.
Experience in automated testing, particularly at the database level, is considered a strong asset.
Proven experience in manual testing methodologies
Industry experience in Financial Services or Asset Management is essential, with a strong grasp of domain-specific concepts and workflows.
Proficient in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, with hands-on experience working within cross-functional Agile teams.
Deep knowledge of testing types, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write, execute, and optimize queries for thorough data validation.
Capable of reading and interpreting stored procedures and complex database logic.
Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.
Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Octopus) in a test/deployment pipeline context.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
