Responsible for maintaining and continuous improvement of GMP/HACCP and FSSC 22000
To ensure Quality Management Systems are developed and implemented to reduce variability and improve product and service quality
Responsible for developing traceability of Raw Materials and Final Products
Ensure compliance with agreed customer product quality specifications - The Quality Contract - from within the production facility
Audit systems, Factory trials, Pre-production, Launches
Support systematic performance improvements within the department
Analyze and address areas of poor practice to eliminate or reduce the risk that such poor practices may hold
Lead and assure the integrity of the Organisation, customers reputation
Identify key skills/knowledge that all factory staff will require to perform the quality control aspects of their function
Ensure compliance with all internal and external food safety and food quality policies and procedures - Parker Family Foods Quality management System; Customer Guidelines; FSSC22000/BRC etc
