QA Automation Engineer
Role Requirements
Qualifications and Certifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
ISTQB Test Automation Engineer (preferred).
Relevant automation tool certifications (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
Experience and Skills
3+ years in QA automation or software development across multiple applications.
Proficient in scripting and coding.
Experience with automation tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
API and performance testing knowledge (Postman, JMeter).
Experience testing ERP or core business applications.
Exposure to performance and security testing tools and practices.
Strong understanding of SDLC.
Knowledge of test case creation, defect tracking, and quality metrics.
Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA).
Key Performance Areas
Define and maintain Automation Test Strategy and Coverage Metrics.
Ensure high script reliability and execution success rates.
Reduce manual test cycles through effective automation.
Identify and prevent regression issues early via automated testing.
Contribute to automation framework improvements.
Maintain accurate and complete test documentation.
Deliver timely test results and sign-offs.
Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios.
Design, write, and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and risks.
Ensure new software integrations meet functional and compliance requirements.
Prepare and present testing reports.
Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing.
