Position Reports to: National Sales Operations Manager ( WC)/Area Manager Inland & KZN) Job brief:
The PURA Pioneer is a results driven and active maverick who constantly seek s out and engage switch customer prospects. The PURA Pioneer will provide complete solutions for every customer to ensure maximum revenue growth, customer growth and profitability. This position is the ultimate hunter and the ideal candidate will look for, create and executes on breakthrough ideas to bring in sales.
This role will largely support the business across the HORECA ,@ Work ,,@School and Convenience channels and will be responsible for the driving of volume and value. The Pioneer will also work alongside our various business partners to support them with training, both in xe2x80x9cclassroomxe2x80x9d and via Trade visits, stock replenishment / management , the expansion of their PURA Soda Customer base
while nurturing and developing the relationship . This sale focused role may require travel across regions to execute their duties. Responsibilities:
- Deliver on Regional volume and value.
- Support and motivate Business Partners by training their Teams, both in xe2x80x9cclassroomxe2x80x9d and via Trade visits, manage and drive their stock replenishment all while nurturing and developing the relationship
- Rapidly grow the number of outlets stocking PURA Soda, in conjunction with our Business Partners, by producing a target list of outlets, pitching PURA Soda to them, and closing against the final listing
- Ensure that strategic customers are called on regularly
- To ensure continuous product availability in both partners and outlets
- Ensure sufficient stock rotation across channels and partners
- Territorial asset management for coolers and others.
- Identify strategic customer and ROI opportunities for asset placement
- Identify, create, and implement ad hoc customer promotion solutions e.g. Meal combos in conjunction with the internal relevant stakeholders
-Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Assist in the implementation of all national or regional key account promotions
- Perform cost benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and finding solutions
- Keep management informed by submitting all required reports, weekly , monthly, and annual territory analysis, and feedback i.e. best practices and competitor and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Monitor com petition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Utilize free stock (Liquid Leverage) and sample stock to generate sales volume , instore presence, build instore dis plays and enable b rand building
- Meticulously submit all required administration, as requested, on time & in full
- Liaise regul arly with our Distributors
- Manage the sampling for the territory based on channel, outlet and target consumer, to
drive sales volume and product exposure.
- Manage and nurture customer relations and assist/educate business partners, distributors, agents, and their sales teams to be the be best representatives of the brand.
- PURA Pioneers will be available for assisting with all consumer activations (Instore or other) and events Tasks
- Source new customers
- Capture all customer contact details on skynam o da ily
- Generate orders
- Free stock and sample stock must be captured and justified on a monthly basis and submitted to the Line manager.
- Expenses are to be accurately captured onto the PURA expense document and submitted monthly to the Line manager for approval.
- Update prospective customer plan weekly and submit to the Line Manager
- Submit a monthly trade activation plan, ensure stock availability, and manage sampling resource
- Ensure all customer master data is up to date on Skynamo
- Meet Distributors/Agents a t least monthly to review the business performance and progress and to train their teams
- Send Action Point report from weekly Distributor meeting to the Line Manager.
- Monthly Trade visits with Distributors Requirements:
- 2 years sales experience in beverages or FMCG with credible quality references
- Excellent Computer literacy
- The ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
- Prioritizing, time management and orga nizational skills
- Ability to create a nd del iver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Undergraduate Degree or Diploma
- Enthusiastic team member with excellent people skills ability to connect with and nurture relationships with clients, customers, colleagues, suppliers and service pro viders
- Be a hard working, self motivated, caring, can do will do worker who can work alone on the road on a daily basis
- Overnight country trips will be required
- Have excellent sales and business communication skills
- Own a reliable car and be in possession of a valid driverxe2x80x99s licence

- Previous Customer Service experience
- Flexibility Availability whenever required
- Confident and energetic. Due to the Nature of the business and the phase in lifecycle, you will be required to support and perform activities outside o f the above described role, as well as occasionally outside of the standard operating hours.
