And it's all thanks to our people.We believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, regardless of race, colour, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or disability.Our ultimate goal is to make cities for people, not cars, and we need your help to achieve this mission!About the roleYour daily adventures will include:Help with the preparations for regulatory meetings which may include research and preparation of materialConduct research on local regulatory requirements and policies relevant to the businessOpportunity to identify places for impact within the legal team and to take initiative in proposing updated processesOther general operations and daily tasks in support of the legal team as directed by the ManagerAssist in analysing proposed regulations and policy changes to assess their potential impact on Bolt's operationsSupport the Regulatory & Policy team in developing strategies to address regulatory challenges and opportunitiesAssist in drafting reports, presentations, and other documents to communicate regulatory and policy updates internallyCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Operations, Tax, and PR, to ensure alignment on regulatory compliance effortsMonitor industry trends and developments to identify emerging regulatory issues and opportunitiesAssist in preparing regulatory filings, licence applications, and other documentation as requiredParticipate in meetings with external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and advocacy groupsAttend various Public Policy meetings (both internal and external) and ensure that action items and meeting notes are captured correctly and appropriately executed thereafterAbout you:Willing to learn about Bolt's mission (understanding its ride-hailing and delivery businesses in particular)Fluency in EnglishEnergetic and imaginativeExcellent communication skillsUphold appropriate standards of confidentialityMust Have: completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree (or potentially undertaking a postgraduate degree) in the areas of Communications, Strategic Communications, Political Science or Law or areas covering Public Policy; Political Analysis; Legislative Research; Community Outreach and Political Awareness or Political AdvocacyEligible to work in South AfricaExperience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity.
