Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
Provide individual therapy sessions (CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapy, etc.)
Facilitate group therapy and psychoeducational sessions
Collaborate with psychiatrists, counsellors, and medical staff on integrated care
Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions accordingly
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case notes
Participate in family therapy and support programs when required
Contribute to relapse prevention strategies and aftercare planning
Master's or Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
Registration with HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa)
Minimum 2-5 years' experience in rehabilitation centres, psychiatric hospitals, or community mental health settings
Experience with international clients is advantageous
Skills & Competencies
Strong grounding in clinical or counselling psychology
Expertise in addiction treatment, trauma therapy, and dual diagnosis care
Excellent communication and empathy skills for diverse client backgrounds
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Cultural sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential information
