Property Manager (rentals)

Job Description
Our client, a property management company in the highway area, requires a Property Manager to establish, develop, and manage a sustainable residential and/or commercial rental book. The role includes sourcing new mandates, managing rental stock, and delivering superior property management services to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development
b. Secure new rental mandates through prospecting and presentations.
c. Convert leads into management agreements in line with company targets.
- Rental Book Growth
b. Maintain client relationships to ensure retention and renewals.
- Property Management
b. Ensure timeous rental collections and property maintenance coordination.
c. Handle inspections and reporting in accordance with company standards.
- Administration & Reporting
b. Prepare monthly performance reports for management.
c. Maintain CRM or internal database updates.
- Sale of Properties
b. Market and sell properties of third parties when directed to do so.
Minimum job requirements:
- NQF Level 4 in real estate
- A valid Property Practitioner certificate
- Five (5) years' experience as an Estate Agent
- Own vehicle & driver's licence
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel to Gauteng when required
- Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence with an audience
- Knowledge of the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act
- Knowledge of the Rental Housing Act
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Understanding of property valuations and market trends
- Knowledge of social media marketing
