, a leading Property Management System (PMS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions of the property, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health and operational transparency of our hospitality/property business.
Key Responsibilities:
Record daily financial transactions accurately in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
Reconcile daily bookings, payments, and guest charges using RoomRaccoon PMS.
Generate and review financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Prepare and submit VAT returns and other compliance documents.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely payment of invoices and collection of outstanding debts.
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting for the property.
Maintain organized financial records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax authorities as required.
Collaborate with the property management team to improve financial workflows and reporting processes.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role, preferably in the hospitality or property sector.
Proficient in RoomRaccoon PMS (minimum 6 months hands-on experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Experience with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.).
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
