Job Description
Our property client seeks a Property Development Director to provide strategic leadership and execution oversight, without board or shareholder responsibility.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Property Development, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8-10 years' experience in property or real estate development (residential or commercial).
- Proven track record managing large-scale or multi-unit developments.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with hands-on experience in feasibility modelling and project financing.
- Familiarity with South African planning, zoning, and building regulations.
- Strategic thinker with commercial awareness.
- Strong leadership and coordination ability.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools
To oversee and direct the full property development life cycle--from land acquisition and feasibility through design, approvals, construction, and handover--ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with the company's quality, sustainability, and strategic objectives.
