Responsibilities

• Review content for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors.
• Ensure consistency in style, tone, and formatting across all documents.
• Provide constructive feedback to writers and collaborate on revisions when necessary.
• Verify facts, figures, and sources to ensure content accuracy.
• Maintain style guides and reference materials to uphold content standards.
• Work within deadlines to deliver high-quality proofreading services.
• Collaborate with content creators to clarify points in the text as needed.

• Proven experience as a Proofreader, Editor, or similar role.
• Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar and punctuation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly.
• Familiarity with style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago, MLA) is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and work collaboratively.
• A degree in English, Literature, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in using proofreading tools and software.
• Experience in specific industries (e.g., technical, marketing, legal) is an advantage.
