We are looking for a Projects and Team Administrator. The primary purpose of the Projects Administrator role is to provide efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the PMO Manager in support of running the project portfolio and the Projects Director in support of running the Capital Projects department.



Project and Team Administrator will have the following duties;

Main Objective of the Job

Assist in developing project documentation, including project
plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and progress reports.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among project teams,
stakeholders, and departments.
- Procurement process administration and support
- Meetings management
- Assistance with travel and transport arrangements
- Assistance with venues, catering, hosting and gifting for large
meetings, workshops, conferences
- Managing visitors
- Onboarding new employees
- Assistance with managing team calendars, birthdays and other
team events.

Skills & Competencies

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic
project environment.
- Knowledge of mining operations and terminology is desirable.
- Excellent presentation & report writing skills.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in project documentation
and data management.
- Ability to work in dynamic environments
- Ability to adapt to changing processes
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills
- Highly organised, meticulous individual with the ability to
multitask, work independently and with excellent time
management skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate across various levels in an
organisation
- Excellent collaboration skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Proactive approach to problem-solving and finding solutions to
administrative challenges.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a
team.

Qualifications

Candidate will have the following qualifications;

- Undergraduate degree
- Additional education or certification in project management or
administration is advantageous (e.g CAPM/Prince 2.PMP)
- 3 - 5 years' proven work experience as a project administrator or
coordinator in a complex operating environment
- Expert Microsoft Project, Enterprise project, planner, and project
online skills
- Experience with other web-based project management platforms
and working knowledge of MS product suite
- Good understanding of project management methodologies and
tools
