Primary Focus

Directing the full lifecycle of complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

o Experience (Minimum 5 Years) as a project manager and must be within the

infrastructure delivery mandate of government.

o Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, project planning, and

infrastructure governance frameworks.

o Experience in a senior management position in the built environment, preferably in

infrastructure facility development management.

o Practical experience working at a tactical and strategic level within a provincial treasury and/or National Treasury environment. Must be able to demonstrate practical experience in working at both tactical and strategic levels within the public sector, including advising on compliance with the PFMA, MFMA, PPP Regulations, and Treasury Guidelines.

o Must have the capacity to work collaboratively with government project teams, and must demonstrate a strong ability to transfer skills, support capacity-building, and provide strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

o Good inter?personal skills, a good understanding of the government environment and clearly substantial technical ability and competence.

Qualifications

o NQF Level 7 (Honours/PGDip) in Project Management or Built Environment qualifications, such as Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveyor and Construction Management.

o 10 years in project management in infrastrucre delivery and 5 must be in public sector.

o 10 years in senior management in built environment infrasdtructure delivery

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 36 months

Pay: Up to R810,00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
