Job Purpose

Lead the day-to-day execution of a client project while leading and developing individual team members. Responsible for creating (or identifying) and implementing cross-sell up-sell and on-sell opportunities. Taking responsibility for the overall project and the end results. Conducting financial monitoring and ensuring tat these project deliverables are produced within budget and are of high quality. To link the clientxe2x80x99s business goals to the milestones of project delivery. Offer the customer added value through planning, execution and completion as well as the handover of projects. End-to-end management of a project/workstream. Manage the development of the project brief, project.

Plans and project initiation documentation and development of solutions using established processes while contributing to customer satisfaction. To link the clientxe2x80x99s business goals to the milestones of project delivery. Managing project cash flows to ensure company liquidity and managing external consultant expectations. Anticipate and communicate project risks and find remedial measures for them. Maintains governance where appropriate and implements the project fully in accordance with the PID (Project Initiation Documents) to ensure positive impact and sustainable results

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Project on the preparation phase including municipal team definition, documentation review and validation
• Define the execution and subcontracting strategy for the project
• Achieve project completion on time, under budget and with the highest Quality standards
• Lead and take full responsibility on all Project controls processes: cost controls, contract management and scheduling
• Lead the project team members both within the project
• Effectively communicate all project stakeholder project progress and possible alternative plans to recuperate possible project deviations
• Direct interface with Client at project level
• Liaise with development and project finance teams to identify possible conflicts on execution because of their different areas of concern (permiting and funding)
• Identify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid any potential project risks and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact (always have a plan B)
• Management of the project contractual obligations.
• Project reporting (internal and external)
• Establish cost report and KPIs for control of the project
• Writes winning proposals xe2x80x93 sticking to Ntiyiso methodology, subjecting proposal writing to problem-solving sessions. Group Chief Advisory reviews where necessary
• Identifies opportunities for current and new clients
• Makes introductions to the firm within the client environment or own environment

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Masterxe2x80x99s degree in Engineering in Industrial, Civil and Mechanical Engineering

• 8 years experience in management consulting/ 10 Years in an operational environment (financial services/manufacturing)
• 12 years experience in the execution of municipal projects of medium to large size.

Technical/ Proficiency Competencies

• MS Office suite of programmes, including; MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project intermediate/advance
• Report writing
