Project Manager Mechanical

Job Description
Duties:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage mechanical engineering projects across all phases.
- Lead project teams, ensuring effective collaboration between engineering, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Oversee mechanical design, installation, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and client updates.
- Manage procurement, vendor selection, and contract administration.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions where required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Project Management qualification (PMP / Pr Eng / Pr Tech / PMI or similar) advantageous.
- 5-10 years mechanical project management experience in industrial, manufacturing, mining, HVAC, construction, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, installation processes, and engineering standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
