Job Description

Our company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team, located at our East London Factory.

Your main duties including but not limited to:

Record keeping of staff attendance and overtime.

Picking up and dropping off staff.

Managing employees and delegating tasks to meet deadlines.

Performing regular inspections of the factory.

Identifying potential safety hazards and managing them accordingly.

Ensuring all personnel comply with health and safety practices, such as wearing the appropriate protective equipment.

Checking work techniques are correct and safe.

Managing orders and deliveries of materials.

Planning work activities.

Completing reports and other records.

Monitoring fortnightly stock take.

Attending site management meetings when necessary.

FACTORY MODULAR UNIT PRODUCTION LINES:

Ensure smooth operations over the complete production line.

Ensure all quality standards are met.

Ensure that the production is cost effective by minimizing wastage.

Ensure that the production is always on schedule.

Suggest, build and maintain production jigs to increase production staff efficiency.

Maintain and fix production equipment and vehicles.

Carpentry of all extras required in modular units.

Electrical of all extras required in modular units.

Training new staff.

Supervise and motivate all workers.

Assist in the production of modular units if necessary.

OFFSITE MODULAR UNIT PRODUCTION AND MAINTANCE:

Ensure smooth operations over the complete offsite production line.

Ensure all quality standards are met.

Ensure that the production is cost effective by minimizing wastage.

Ensure that the production is always on schedule.

Maintain and fix production equipment and vehicles.

Maintain and fix stock units and equipment.

Maintain and fix everything in the storage yards as well as branches.

Maintain and fix transportation trailers.

Ensure all branch maintenance is kept up.

Ensure all unit refurbs are always to standard and up to date.

Travel to on-site installations and oversee a team to complete the installation of the modular units to a good quality standard where needed.

Plumb modular units and complete any specific jobs.

Weld modular units.

Carpentry of all extras required in modular units.

Electrical of all extras required in modular units.

Supervising and training staff where necessary.

Assist in the offsite production of modular units if necessary.

Supervise and motivate all workers.

STOCK CONTROL:

Ensure all stock received is receipted in.

Ensure all stock received in, is to quality requirements.

Ensure all stock distributed is receipted out.

Ensure all stock distributed is to quality requirements prior to distribution.

Ensure factory is packed as per stock packing plan.

Load and unload stock from trucks and containers.

EMPLOYEES:

Post recruiting adverts, review CV's, set up and conduct interviews for all open positions under your control.

Ensure all staff under you are efficiently and effectively utilized.

Consult with the National Project Manager if you feel the need to increase or decrease the staff compliment where necessary.

Reduce overtime where possible by making sure adequate planning is done.

Any other tasks assigned to you during the course of employment.

Candidate must reside in East London: 100% (Required)

Salary R26 000,00 per month.
