Project Manager - IT & Infrastructure (Contract) Hybrid
Our client is undergoing a major business and IT transformation. As part of this programme, we are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead multiple SAP and non-SAP technology projects across business units and regions. The role requires strong governance, stakeholder management, and delivery oversight within a structured PMO environment.
You will manage projects from inception to handover, ensuring quality delivery across scope, cost and timelines, while coordinating cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Governance

• Lead software, infrastructure, and application projects from requirements through to go-live.
• Manage scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and resources.
• Ensure alignment to PMO governance, frameworks, stage gates and delivery methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, etc.).
• Produce status reports for stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Drive risk mitigation, conflict resolution, and issue management.
• Ensure quality controls and project governance structures are in place.
• Support post-go-live transition and work closely with AMS, data, security, and other IT functions.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with business leadership, sponsors, and technology teams.
• Attend and support governance bodies including SteerCo, CAB, EAB, design forums and assurance audits.
• Ensure project objectives remain aligned with organisational roadmap and decision-making bodies.

Change Management

• Support business readiness, communication, and change management activities.
• Ensure teams are prepared for go-live impacts, process changes, and operational transitions.

Qualifications & Experience

• IT Degree or Diploma (essential).
• Minimum 7 years IT Project Management experience.
• Experience managing large, global or complex multi-vendor projects.
• Strong network and infrastructure project experience (required).
• Exposure to SAP projects (advantageous but not essential).
• Experience managing non-SAP systems and applications.
• Skilled in project methodologies and frameworks: PMBOK, Agile, hybrid.
• Strong planning, estimation, design, control and implementation capabilities.
• Ability to lead diverse teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience using enterprise project management tools.
