Fedics is looking for an experienced, highly customer-focused Project Manager / Food & Beverage Manager to lead the catering operations at our 5 star Automotive site. This role is ideal for a commercially minded "foodie" with strong administration skills, a passion for events, and an entrepreneurial spirit who can turn a site into a thriving, profitable operation while delivering an outstanding guest experience.

Duties & Responsibilities Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships Manage the site's financial performance to ensure a profitable operation Oversee budgeting, costing, reporting, and cost control Lead menu planning, food innovation, and seasonal offerings Plan and execute events, promotions, and functions Manage daily operations, including production, service, and customer interaction Maintain strong administrative controls (stock, ordering, invoicing, cash-ups, record keeping) Implement and uphold operational standards and procedures Lead, motivate and develop the on-site team Ensure compliance with health, safety, food hygiene and legislative requirements Uphold Tsebo Catering Solutions quality standards, including audits and corrective actions
Skills and Competencies Strong customer focus with a passion for delivering exceptional service. Solid financial acumen - budgeting, costing, margin management and reporting. Excellent administration and organisational skills with strong attention to detail. Strong event planning and coordination capabilities. Entrepreneurial and commercially minded, with the ability to spot opportunities and drive growth. A genuine "foodie" - passionate about food trends, quality, presentation, and innovation. Confident leader with good communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Able to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications A relevant hospitality, culinary or food & beverage management qualification (preferred). Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) managing a food & beverage operation, ideally in corporate catering, hotels, restaurants, or similar environments. Demonstrated success in running a commercially successful ("money-making") site or outlet. Experience in planning and delivering events and functions.
