Job Title: Project Manager (Agriculture)

Job Type: 12 month contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Duties:
The Project Management function will include planning, control, and reporting within the following areas:
Scope Control
Schedule Control
Quality Control
Integrated Change Control
Risk Control
Integrated monthly reports:
Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports including:
o Project forecasted completion versus Actual Completion.
o Baseline % vs Physical % progress achieved.
o Tasks items delayed.
o Tasks to start in the next reporting period (Project look ahead).
o Schedule Performance Index (SPI).
o Impending schedule slippages from the critical path.
Project Controls general tasks and responsibilities will include:
o Establish the Project Controls.
o Ensure the development of project control systems.
Manage the Project Controls function and assure adherence to:
Integrated Change Management:
Registering of changes in Project scope.
Registering of changes in the Project schedule because of changes made during the lifecycle of the project.
o Communication Management.
o Quality Assurance and Quality Control:
Track the quality of deliverables from project streams within the Turn Around Strategy.
Risk management.
Business improvement initiatives cost and production improvements tracking.
Project Registers:
o Incidents Register:
o Risk Register
o Change Register
o Decision Register
o QA Sign off register.
o Project Assumptions register.
Required Qualifications:
Degree/Diploma in Agriculture
Experience:
7 Years experience as a project manager in the agriculture environment
Sound understanding of pivot's, dam and pipeline development
