Bachelor's degree / Advanced Diploma / B. Tech degree on NQF level 7 in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
Project management certification would be an advantage.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in project management, with demonstrable evidence of successful project delivery in a team environment.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid approaches)
Required Competencies
Knowledge of project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
Excellence in stakeholder management and communication
risk management and problem-solving capabilities
Proven leadership and team management abilities
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Expertise in project governance and compliance
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to multi-task within a tight deadline environment.
Responsibilities
Take full ownership of assigned projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality parameters.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including work breakdown structures, schedules, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
Lead project teams effectively, providing direction, motivation, and performance management
Support the management of project budget including cost control and financial reporting.
Conduct stakeholder analysis and maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders.
Implement and maintain project governance frameworks and methodologies
Lead project meetings and status update sessions
Manage project risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation strategies
Create and present project reports and presentations as may be required.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management framework
Mentor junior project team members and contribute to building project management capability
Perform other duties that may be assigned.
