Job Description
Our client in the Engineering Consulting industry is currently looking for a Project Financial Accountant, in Pretoria.
Responsibilities:
- Play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that xe2x80x98bring ideas to lifexe2x80x99 for their clients across all types of financial projects.
- Apply sound understanding of Project Financial Accounting.
- Assisting the Unit Leader to manage the finances of the unit, registering projects, revenue recognition, following up on debtors, adjusting project budgets, and analysing the Income Statement.
- Ensure all unbilled WIP is invoiced timeously.
- Assist with compilation of information used for monthly reporting and annual budgets.
- Processing of journals and invoices.
- Apply very good interpersonal skills.
- 3+ years of Project Accounting experience.
- BCom Finance Degree preferred skills, and characteristics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with BST or other Project Accounting.
- Ability to work independently (self-starter), as well as part of a group.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of accounting systems.
- Ability to successfully handle Project Accounting for multiple projects.
- Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
- R300 000 xe2x80x93 R500 000 per annum.
