Job Description
My client is looking for a Project Finance Accountant to oversee the financial management, reporting, and compliance of multiple high-impact projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, project-driven environment and enjoys partnering with both technical and financial stakeholders to ensure accuracy, transparency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and complete project financial records, ensuring costs and revenue are properly accounted for.
- Prepare monthly project financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.
- Support the development of budgets and forecasts, monitoring project spend and funding utilisation.
- Manage project cash flows, including capital drawdowns and funding requirements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal policies, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and support audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (essential).
- 3-5 years' experience in project finance or accounting, ideally in renewable energy, infrastructure, or capital project environments.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and funding arrangements preferred.
